We all expect our parents to be there for us no matter the situation we all are in.



This is because we all look up to our families. The closest family we have are our parents



We need all support we can get to make our lives easier.

So, if one of your parents doesn't value you, doesn't care about your existence and doesn't want to do anything with you then you will have already lost an important part of your life.



If you look at your closest friends they all seem on good terms with their parents. You see their lives to be perfect.



They are happy with their families. What you see on your side is just sadness in your life. All this is because your dad doesn't care about you.



No matter how your dad might turn up to be, the truth is that at one point or another we still need him in our lives.



Anyway, if your dad doesn't want anything to do with you don't worry about that. Be grateful that you exist because of him.



You now have something to fight for your life to be better. Be glad you know the meaning of life.




You have to know that you are not the only one facing that issue.



This is what you can do if your father doesn't care about you or doesn't want anything to do with you;

1. Accept the condition that you are in first.

You have to accept that you are in that condition. Appreciate that your dad doesn't care about you. Don't be in denial about anything.



Once you have accepted the condition you are in you will have the energy to face all the challenges you come across.



This is a challenge that each and every one of us will face in life.



For you to walk through this challenge you have to accept that you are in it.



Accept your condition will not make it easy for you to walk away from this problem but this will give you a better chance of finding a perfect way to come up with a solution so that you make your life in a good shape.



Even if your father doesn't care about you, doesn't love, doesn't want anything to do with you, you are still an important person in this world.


2. If your dad doesn't care about you then make your mom so close to you.

If your dad doesn't want anything to do with you, it's okay. You still have your mom by your side.



Make your mom so close to you. Love your mom with everything you got. This is because if you miss your dad's love then you will need much from your mom.


So, make your mom the closest person in your life. Maximize the time you spend with her.


Talk to her about the situation you are in, she will understand you though she might not do anything about it.



The truth is that you can't make a person like you when he or she doesn't want to.



Your mom is all you got, for now, so treat her like a priceless pearl.



Make your mom love you so much more than anyone else in this world.



Her love for you can change everything in your life.



You can make your mom love you more by;

  • Being kind to your mom in any condition she might be in.
  • Speaking politely, nicely and respectful to her no matter which words she says to you.
  • Respect any decisions she makes for your life as long as it doesn't affect you.
  • Support your mother in everything she does for you.
  • You have to motivate your mother whenever things get hard. She is a human too and we all give up sometimes.
  • Love your mother in words and actions. Let her know that you love her so much.
  • Protect your mother from anything you have the capability to handle. If it's too much you can ask for help from someone you trust.
  • Spending a lot of time with your mother if you have the chance to.
  • Buy your mother a present and surprise her when she least expects you to.

So, if you manage to make your mom the closest person in your life. Then I don't think you will have to worry about not having your father's love.

3. Don't force yourself to try to be something you are not for your dad to love you.

If your dad doesn't care about you just live with that. The last thing you need right now is stress in your life.



So, never force yourself to be somebody you are not so that your father to care for you.



Anyway, you don't have to do anything for your parents to care for you. You don't have to prove anything to them because you are their kid.



Parents will always love and care for their children.



So, if your dad doesn't care about you don't fight so hard for it. The more you stress yourself to get appreciated by your father the more harm you might be doing to yourself.



What you can do about your father is let him be the way he is but one day he will understand that what he did to you was wrong.



If he grows old he will understand that you were the best kid he ever had.



Be yourself and move on with your life if he is a person who knows that you are still his kid then he will come around.



4. Work smart and make your life better you won't need him.

If your dad doesn't care about this means that he will not want anything to do with you.



This also means that he might even not be willing to support you in your career. He might even not pay for your college fee.



If you have a chance to do something that can change your life and make you independent then go ahead and do it.



Shape your life in a way that he will later regret not being a part of.

Work smarter, improve yourself and use this situation you have as a way of motivating yourself to work even harder.

Find meaning from the challenge you are facing right now.



If you let your gut down because your dad doesn't care about you then you might end up ruining everything in your life.



Be focused on what you want in your life and go for it.



Hold on to something that will change your life positively.



The truth is that if you make your life better then you won't need him.



We have people who were once rejected by their fathers but that did not prevent them to fight for their lives.



5. Let your father go if he doesn't want anything to do with you.

The truth is that you can't force someone to love even if he is your father. If he made a choice not to be a part of your life then let him go.



As long as you have a way to stand up on your own then there is no need to degrade yourself before him trying to win his love.



You will only be lowering your self-esteem. This will do no good for you.



If you can't stand on your own. For instance, he doesn't want to pay for your college or university then you can search for a scholarship.



You can find a scholarship or get a loan from a bank and you will later pay it.



All this is for you to be able to stand on your own.



Be yourself and move on with your life. Don't disrespect him even if he doesn't want anything to do with you.



Your life will be better even if he doesn't take part in it. You have to believe in yourself.



To sum it up, if your father doesn't care about you, work on improving yourself. Take all the love you have from your mother and be strong.



Know that you aren't the only one going through this problem. Work on achieving your goals and turn your life into something great. You won't need him.
