In this article, I will share what you should do to become yourself again.

 

If you have lost yourself, feeling disconnected from yourself, possess an identity that is not yours and if you are lost in someone else’s life what I will share with you in this article will help you fix that.

 

There are so many reasons why you are not yourself now, but all these reasons can be worked out by several simple things.

 

Without wasting time, let me share with you what you need to do to become yourself again.


This is how to become yourself again;

1. Identify what made you a different person.

If you want to become yourself again this is the first thing you will have to do.

 

It will be so hard for you to find a cure for a disease if you don’t know the cause.

 

You are not a different person, you don’t like the person you have become at all.

 

And you want to change that. For you to change the person you are now and be the person you once were, you will need first to find out what made you change.

 

Take your time and find out what made you a different person. The person you are now is not the person you want to be.

 

This means there is something you did that made you the person you are now.

 

Ask yourself some questions about why you are a different person, and observe if you have recently come across a big life change.

 

Did you change to be a different person because something important in your life is missing?

 

Try to go deep within yourself and analyze what went wrong to become the person you are now.

 

Once you know the main reason you are not the person you want to be then this is going to be the first step to you becoming the person you want to be.

 

When you work out these issues that made you not be yourself you are going to be the person you want to be.

 

You will be yourself again.

 

2. Work on what changed you in the first place.

Now that you know why you are not yourself, it’s easier for you to work on the things that made you change and restore your original self.

 

If you are not yourself because of something that you are doing then you will have to find a way to stop that.

If you are not yourself because someone important left your life, find a way to deal with the grief and become yourself again.

 

Also, if it’s a broken heart, you have to find a way to heal yourself and get over your ex for you to become yourself again and take control of your life.

If you want to become yourself, stop comparing yourself to them and work on improving yourself.

 

Love yourself, feel yourself and connect to yourself and this is what will make you become yourself again.

 

4. Do what defines you.

What makes you, you, are the things that you do, things that define you.

 

I’m a writer, when I’m typing getting all my words on a piece of paper, this makes me feel me.

 

It ignites something within me that makes me feel myself. Writing is what defines me.

 

What defines you? Is it your passion? Is it your relationship with other people? Is it something that you believe in?

 

Find something that defines you and makes you feel yourself. When you start doing that thing once again and stick to it, you are going to realize that you are becoming yourself once again.

 

If you lost your passion, and that is what used to define you, and when you lost it, it changed you then you have to recover it.

So, if you have been hanging out with people you are always trying to please, and you go against the things you stand for and believe in just to make them happy then this is something that made you someone else.

Nothing you do makes you happy, you just do them to please them and that is what you have been doing for so long.

 

You have been putting on a show, and now you are on that show.

 

You are not yourself anymore and that is why you are trying to find a way to become yourself again.

 

The only way to become yourself is by being yourself. Stop doing things to make other people happy.

 

Do things that you believe are genuine and don’t try so hard to fit in groups that aren’t aligning with your principles.

 

This is what will always help you be yourself.

 

If you want to be yourself again, stop caring what other people think about you and do you.

 

Don’t let their opinion revolve around your life and make you change everything you believe in simply because you want to make them happy.

 

Life is too short to live it for someone else.
